I beg to differ. You definitely do need plus to access mp. Mine had expired and I am not able to use MP any longer.

When you say you did it on his save, what do you mean? Did he put his hard drive into your PS4 or you logged into his?

I did cotton for the first time.
Its a nice way to earn money, because off lacking the money mod, as said before and not owning a ps plus i cant do the multi player thing.

Wow! in just 1 days harvest of cotton, fields 1,2,3,4,5,6.. I sold all 11 bales of cotton and made $1,076,567.. cotton was at 4,893..($195,739 per 2 bales)

No access to the mod hub? You don't need ps+ to access the mod hub, only to access multiplayer. I do believe you on your friend didn't have ps+ but could still get online, I don't directly have ps+ and I can play online, if someone doesn't believe me then my psn is Zombiekiller5841 if you look next to someone name it shows the ps+ icon if they have it, I don't but can still play online. Now before people goes off on me saying that's not possible, I will just say this yes it isn't possible to play online without ps+ but if another user on my ps4 has ps+ and their account is set to primary it will allow me to piggyback off their ps+ thus giving me access to online multiplayer.

yes if the primary user has a ps+ but if the primary user has no ps+ then you can't play multiplayer..only the primary user needs a ps+ all other on the same ps4 don't because they all use the primary users ps+

Well free game, like world of tanks, doesn't require ps+ to play online. Ps+ is only needed on games with a price tag
