This is only sort of correct... if you forgive the spelling...

WATER is 1,000 litres per tonne, that's a Metric tonne...or Imperial Long Ton which is 2,205 lbs

also tyre is not an incorrect spelling...

ive not found that the unit of measurement has any baring on my gameplay at all.. in fact the only time anything "non American" affects my gameplay is on UK based mod maps where u drive on the other side of the road

maybe in today’s politically correct world all the units should just be dropped from the game. we could have things like credits and units

Craig an imperial long ton is 2240 lb, which is 20 hundredweight (112 lb each), each of which hundredweight is 8 stone (14 lb each).
An imperial long ton (2240 lb) is close to the same weight as a metric tonne (2204 lb) but not quite.

Technically from a physics perspective a metric tonne is also a unit of mass (1000 kg) not weight, whereas imperial tons are units of weight (2xxx lb) not mass. Luckily at the surface of the earth there is not a big difference from a practical perspective :biggrin2:

An imperial short tonne is 2000 lb.

I didn't know stones and hundredweight were still used in modern conversation anywhere until I lived in England. I find this archaic system novel and fascinating, if pretty impractical from a modern viewpoint.

And of course you are correct that tyre is an accepted spelling. The large chunk of the English-speaking world who use British English spell it that way. There are a thousand other words with small spelling differences in the same vein. Both spellings are correct.

Haha they put feet and gallons and whatnot in the fact sheets tho. I'm from America but in case you wanna know how to convert the meters to feet just multiply the meters by 3.3. I would like to see bushels but they don't use it amd dunno how its calculated so it's whatever. Although it is kinda...weird to see the speedometers in everything in Kph. But nbd. I just want more American style equipment. I like the whole front three point and pto but we only use it if need be. It's also cheaper to just put suitcase weights on the front. Nice row crop amd spacing tires and tracks would be nice but this is off topic so I'll be quiet

Having something in pounds, gallons or even bushels(I am sorry, but bushel looks hilarious and outdated) is just so confusing.
I completely agree, but it can't hurt to give the option to those who want it. It's a VERY simple conversion after all.
