oilseed raddish

Can anyone get it to work?If so ,how?I used it quite a bit in 17 and i'm familiar with it.Wont work for me on ps4

Cultivate the field, seed with radish, wait for it to sprout, cultivate again.
You should now have 1 stage of fertilizer.

What is the actual problem you are having? its the same as fs17 is it not? Follow Georges steps and it should work

Hi all nope is not working like in fs17 Im on ps4 after cultivate oilseed radish we don't have 1 stage of fertilization dont know if the same problem is on pc or thay change way oilseed radish work in fs19

I've used it on FS19 PC (on the previous patch) and it worked.
Don't know if they broke it somehow or there's a problem on consoles, sorry.

it did not work on ps4 ,pre patch,i wasted too much time on it already.

I am on Xbox, the fert state was only showing when I planted the seed, not as I cultivated for some reason.

a doubt, is cheaper use oilseed raddish than direct fertilization?

Haven’t worked out the costs. I think seeding is cheaper, but long term your field is out of action for a growth state at least while the osr grows.

Personally can’t see any benefit.

I ran some tests last week on oilseed radish - on PC.

It does result in a 1 stage fertilization stage - as does any other crop. However Oilseed Radish does take longer to reach stage 1 growth, by an extra 50% time, than cash crops. I'd be more inclined to plant wheat and cultivate that in, rather than oilseed radish!

That must be from fertilizing with the seeder at the time you are planting no? It doesn't make much sense that all crops would magically add a fertilization state just from planting the crop.

It has always been the way, if you cultivate or plough in a crop, it acts as a fertiliser stage, the same way as osr does.

I believe OSR is mainly used as it’s cheap. Although I am not a farmer

Yes it does. For example, if you buy a field with a crop you don't want, try to cultivate it.
You'll get a fertilization state.
