Silo's wall
Why is it not possible for Giants to make the Silo's wall compact
Re: Silo's wall
If you tip right at the edge it may leak.

It's not a joke. Hes not saying it should he that way. But that's how it is. If your too close to the wall the tip area thinks your outside the bunker. It's been that way in previous versions as well. Probably will stay that way to make the tipper detect other tip points correctly.

Re: Silo's wall
Seems to be an issue with the placeble bunkers. I find them to be too small anyway even the larger ones so I don't use them. The bunkers at the bga work fine and they are sufficient size.

It's a bummer though if your wanting to do cows and dont want to buy the BGA.

Re: Silo's wall
It should still do the leaked part if the stuff is linked to silos. I noticed in FS17 wet grass gives you more sillage than hey dry grass.
Re: Silo's wall
This is why i always tip it back on 17, and let my tractor run over it too squish it out to the sides, but i hate it when it spill out from the entry points, i know i can scoop it up with a bucket, but when you have it night and flat and you put the excess back in the bunker, your back to square 1. I don't even use the silage plow, i hate it, you have it nice and flat, and it make hills, don't get it.Preble 818 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 4:43 am It's not a joke. Yea its not the greatest system ever. At least compacting is a lot easier in 19 though I can say that.

Re: Silo's wall
Once the Stego roller came out compacting was a piece of cake in 17.
Re: Silo's wall
I have never seen grass leak through the fermenting silo/bunker walls in FS17 on any map. In fact, there is a small distance between the grass in the silo/bunker and the wall.

Re: Silo's wall
There was on certain maps, usually the 3 sided ones if you reversed up to the back wall to unload. I had it happen last on lone oak. You only see it if you are really close when you unload.
