What happened on your farm today?

Post by PoggleBox »

Tales of farming glory or embarrassment. Please contribute ......

Today on Felsbrunn I took a baling contract for field 30 using my own equipment. It was for silage bales. The only equipment I didn't have was the bale wrapper but I had plenty of spare cash and thought why not? So I bought it.

The job was only paying £5400 which is not a lot for the time involved but I didn't mind as I'm passing time until my Oats and Canola are ready for harvest later today. I've found that if careful, you can skim the edge of the field and cut some of the grass from outside the field too. Pulling a Windrower behind my mower(s) brought that outside grass back into the field increasing the yield. I managed to get 29 bales from the field. Netting a whopping £9200 on top of the payment for the contract. A perfect day at the office. :biggrin2:

I’ve also did the baling contract in field 30. And i’ve had some trouble with a IBC that would not leave my pallet forks 😅

It sat and was completely unproductive...nothing sown, nothing harvested.
Ps4 realistic gameplay;
Ravenport start-from-scratch;
Absolutely love the game!

Wool Came up on high demand so I got it all loaded up and headed that way. I was almost there when i took a turn to fast and flipped my tractor and the trailer over. So i went back and got my semi truck to turn the tractor back right side up but I hit and bump in the grass flipping my semi over. So then I went back and got another semi and flipped semi 1 back up and then I went down to flip my tractor and trailer back up. I ended up selling the wool for a very disappointing amount a money. I miss it where you could get 100k+ in 17, I only made 32k off that wool, I had like 12 or 13 pallets.

I overpaid an AI to mess my field up. Fixed what the AI messed up. Watched it grow and daydreamed about the day I'll have gps so I don't have to overpay AI and fix what they mess up.

funny posts guys

@cowboy5130: doing nothing, and watching the nature beauty is some of the most productive things you've done today, definitely *thumbsup*
