Most tractors on FS19 seem to require diesel exhaust fluid, but I haven’t seen a meter or gauge for the level. Also don’t know how to fill it if it is required in game. Am I missing something?

No meter...I think it's just added automatically when filling the fuel...they add it for realism

I don't think it does anything right now. I read on discord it was originally in the game but they got rid of it but left the required amount. It'd be nice if it could be added in seasons to add more realism

Yeah, think it doesnt really use it in game, sadly, I was looking for 1000L DEF shuttles in the shop when i saw that they had DEF fill volumes....

Would be really cool if they added it in where it burned DEF off at the 6% rate of fuel in the SCR only machines (like the CNH machines) and the 2.5% rate of the fuel for the DPF/SCR hybrid systems like in the John Deeres.

It's also a carcinogen (cancer causing agent) if I'm not mistaken

I remember reading somewhere that def saves the environment by breaking down the gasses (Nox or Nitrous Oxide) produced by combustion from diesel that can damage the Ozone layer of the atmosphere.

My s660 has the def gauge next to the fuel gauge. It fills in the back next to the fuel tank. The def is a clear substance.
