Cant get into the game

I'm struggling to find motivation to play this new version of my favourite game.
I'm a bit gutted to be honest.

Iv been playing FS 17 but There is something about FS 15 that keeps drawing me back.
FS15 Was probably my favourite, the amazing maps and that soil mod.

Anyone else not very interested in this new one?
Anyone ventured as far back as 15? 13? 11 even?

15 is still my favourite too. Being a console player I didn’t have access to the soil mod or all the great maps that were released but I still really liked 15. For me the biggest reasons are the AI, (the workers were much more reliable than they are now)the nearly unlimited slots and NO STUTTERING. If I could have 15 with mod maps and the new brands that have been added that would be all the game I need.

If you played on PS3 or Xb360 maybe but on PS4 and XBONE you had 3000 slots, not including the map and the slot count on equipment was half as much. If I had a way to show you my Westbrige save I could prove it, the amount of stuff I have on that save is just ridiculous.

Yup....I had 3 quadtracks because I didn't have enough slots left to get a different tractor.

You guys had to have been playing on a PS3 or 360. I had PS3 for 13 and that’s how it was but with a PS4, 15 had 3000. I can’t remember the name of the video but there was a vid up on YouTube a few years ago where it shows this. I don’t think 15 showed you slots remaining so the guy kept buying windmills, each windmill counted as 1 slot, and kept count of the slots and ended up around 3000. As much stuff as I have on my WB save I didn’t max it out. I would have to put 15 in and check, its been a while, but I will bet you anything that it is a heck of a lot more than 200.

If that’s all you have to complain about with 15 is the rain, same as it’s been up to 19 then that isn’t much to complain about is it? I will take rain falling through the roof over AI that doesn’t work or the constant stutter and FPS drops that Giants have givin us in the last 2 versions any day.

I almost did not play to FS19..but I played over 1000 hours of 17, starting right after launch.

I don't know what they did to FS19, but I'm totally unable to motivate myself to play.

The fact that they totally screwed up animals and forestry are probably some reason...My expectation were really high...but for now, I'm thinkg about reinstalling FS17 until good mods made a comeback, including maps.

I'll be honest, I was one of those "Lol, Farm simulator" detractors (I swear that wasn't meant as a pun)
Until I saw an accidental youtube vid of some guy buying $10mil of pigs, thinking maybe there is something to that game... 40 hours of play later... still learning.

So FS19 is my first Farming sim, I got it on xbox one. What is the expectation I should have for a season pass? I have not gotten one, as I didn't really know what is would be good for, new maps?

DLC pretty much. But you can download mods in-game though
