I was just wondering, if you accept a contract, and hire a worker to do it, will you profit from it?
And if you hire workers to do everything on your field, is that profitable?
Are workers profitable?

Re: Is workers profitable?
I've done a lot of fertilizing contacts with workers, and a little harvesting, and have made good profit. As far as your own fields, yes it's still profitable.
Re: Is workers profitable?
Absolutely. Even with contracts, on easy economy mode even more.
Think it this way, if you are a farm owner, you have a small farm, few tractors and a combine, then probably you can do all the work in the farm yourself. This means
you do not need workers for small farming, but if you have already several combines, many fields, lot of tractors, then you could use some help.
You need to keep the all the machinery running and unused field is unearned money. At some point your farm might get so big that you are not able to do all the work yourself,
then you need some help.
This is how it works in real life, of course in game you can play whatever you like, but most likely you can be more profitable and expand faster if you use helpers, even they cost
some money.
