Ok so I'm curious as to why these machines are limited to only straw bales when they are clearly capable of unwrapping/spreading hay and silage bales as well. It would sure make things better and quicker.

You can use them for hay bales, put it on feed mode instead of strawblower mode.

I've tried every which way I can think of but it only seems to work with straw bales.

On PS4 if that makes any difference cuz we all know consoles are restricted from numerous options lol.

I'm on console, and I've used the skid steer straw blower for hay before.

Very odd. I can blow straw or unload straw but when I put in a hay or silage round bale it doesn't even register there is a bale in it.

Which is the model you're using?

The DE250 SSL on the C232 but it didn't work on the L218 either or the FL or TL. They all only do straw so either something is broken or I am a complete moron.

Have you tried changing the empty type?

Yes. With and without each type of bale in each of the machines. I am not using any mods either so that isn't an issue. I have tried everything I can think of.

I have the latest update version as well so one last option is to uninstall the game and reinstall to see if that does anything.

Well whatever the issue was it seems to be fixed now. They will all unload straw, hay and silage.

A bit disappointed that the unloading animation is just a dribble. Was hoping it would be the same as the blowing animation but we can't always win I guess.

You dont generally blow hay or silage, you use it to feed troughs, so it makes sense

Yeah it makes sense. I just assumed it had the same animation from various videos I've seen. I also thought those were modified to do hay and silage since mine only did straw until the reinstall fixed whatever was wrong.
