Share your yards, get inspired

Post by redglasses »

I have found my self struggling to find inspiration when it comes to building my farms, have you?
If so this thread should give you plenty of inspiration. I've put a lot of thought into this, I've tried to design it to be easy to post on, but yet very informative for the user looking through this thread. To post your farms on this thread I ask that you follow the following template.
----------------
Name of your farm (You don't need one, feel free to leave this out)
Type of farm (Grain, cotton, dairy, wool ect.)
Size of yard (Small, medium, large)
If you have a large yard or our yard is unique to a certain area on the map please share where your yard is on the map

Vehicle/tool storage - _/5 (1 being no storage, 5 being lots of storage)
Grain storage - _/5 (1 being none, 5 lots of storage)
Open space - _/5 (1 being very tight yard, 5 being very open)

Total - _/15 (Total up the above)

Share up to 3 pictures of your yard (1 must be an over head picture)

Pros - Share some general pros about your yard/farm
Cons - Share some cons about your yard/farm
----------------
I hope you enjoy what you find in this thread. This should make it easy to contribute to this thread, and informative for people reading through it.
Have fun on the fields guys.

Cons - No bin storage, dump grain in buildings. No Animals.

Where is that placed? Looks a bit like Ravenport around the Fields 21/22? Were those trees planted? Any issues with fps-drops?

Here is mine - unfortunately no Pictures at the Moment. Did not figure out how to take screenshots on PS4 and put them on here.

I started my Farm as Cotton and wool. But Extended it in the last days with two horses and prepared for cows.

It's a small farmyard (based in Ravenport on the nortern part of field 7)

Vehicle/tool storage - 2/5
Grain storage - 1/5
Open space - 3/5

Total - 6/15

Share up to 3 pictures of your yard (1 must be an over head picture)

Pros - the open space on Field 7 leaves enough room for later extensions
Cons - no real structure due to the lack of placeables on console.

As soon as I figure out how to upload Pictures I will

What I used to do was upload directly to Facebook but set the privacy to only me. On my phone I would download it from FB and then upload it here using giants image server.

Here is mine after the last night update. The farm is located in Felsbrun starting location and takes a little of the surrounding fields. Also the upper part of the fields is expanded after some tree removing.

Vehicle/tool storage - 5/5
Grain storage - 5/5
Open space - 4/5

Total - 14/15

Pros - The Farm has everyting - a lot of storage for vehicles and crops, all types of animals and a farm house.
Cons - I had to do a lot of lanscaping to make it look the way I want and that took a lot of money I had to earn.

Invested in landscaping and new buildings for storage.
