Placing animal pens - land deformation

Post by Mizzi1904 »

I am trying to place a cow pasture on the German map field 20, and trying to place it where I had a sheep pasture. The sheep have gone and I've even flattened the land and made it grass with the landscape tool in case there was something left behind from the sheep, and it just says the terrain cannot be adjusted when I go to place the cow pasture. But there is nothing there!! There is room for about 3 tractors all the way round so it can't be hitting anything.

The only way it will let me build (goes green) is on top of the nearby pig enclosure! Now surely that collides with an object??
Any ideas very welcome??? I'm on PS4.

It seems like, if you alter the terrain too much, then it won't let you place anything. :confusednew:

This matches my experience, or nothing big, literal edge cases, I think. :)
