When will the mods be voted only in the game?

I'm a little tired of seeing the rating fall and see how the votes of my mods publiced increase from 20 to 20 because of haters....

I think it would be more fair to receive only one vote for each player, being possible to do so only from the game on PC or consoles.

I want you to know this thread is not for my mods only, it is referring to all the mods that modders upload and to the misuse that haters make about the voting system.

I have to admit I thought this was the case already.
As on FS19 on console you can now vote in game and only vote once you have downloaded the MOD. So I presumed it had already been removed from the website.

Odd that they have chosen to limit console players voting but less so for PC ?

But you can vote more than once on console.
I give good ratings on mods I download.
If I like it 5 stars,if I dont 4 stars.

You can vote with new IP address, the haters use VPN soft, but it should be with every registered game nothing more.

Are you sure ? I again had presumed voting again updates your vote not adds another ??

And some people like me always forget to vote. Don't care so much about votings. "For the world, your mod is somebody, but for somebody, your mod is the world." (hope, you understand).
e.g. I love the floodlights, but I don't care about the ramp. Anyway because of this topic, I take the time to vote now.

But this means, I can vote many times on the Homepage (belongs to the system, I'm online) and one time ingame on Xbox. Yes, this is a problem. Haters will always hate and take time to show. Sorry about that.

You can't vote more than once on console. If you vote again, it will overwrite your previous vote. Also, it is not IP based.

We are working on updating the game and modhub to allow voting just in the game.

At this very moment, I can only vote ingame for mods, that I have downloaded / installed. Xbox.

Does this voting thing really add anything useful for anyone, and not only discourage people who's mods are not appreciated...? Have I ever during my 25 years of using Internet ever seen some anonymous voting/rating system that actually gave me some useful information...? Haters will (as noted above) always be more active.

I’m pretty sure mods with a higher voting get more money per download. Also, sometimes it’s just nice to have proof that people like what you’re doing

Rating is also used for the Best Rated list.

Can you see the how others voted when you vote in FS19? If so, maybe hide then this info this so that more people are forced to think for themselves while voting?

Just as a test I voted on my work computer for a mod that isnt downloaded on said computer. and I am not signed in to the modhub.
