Seed and fertilizer refill placeables

Post by Joshj27a »

So am I doing something wrong or do the seed and fert placeables not actually work?

Did you open the covers on your equipment?

Yes I did open them. I also got as close as I could to it and I never got a trigger. 🤷‍♂️

I have had the same problem, but only with certain seeders and planters. For some, I can trigger seed or fertilizer, but not the other.

The only seeded I’ve used is the big seed hawk one but it worked planters however I used the big vaterstad planter (I believe it’s called the tempo) and no matter what I did I couldn’t put seed in it I could put fert in it however

All this leads me to ask the question 'what is getting tested?' 5 minutes after plopping a seed trigger down i realized it didn't work. This will sound harsher than it is but i mean the mods whole funtion in life doesn't even work! It passed testing?! I don't understand.

I find that they do work but you have to get really close to them with certain equipment

This is how large the "detection zone" is ... (could have been made slightly larger in all honestly)!

I still can’t get them to work either. I’ve tried backing up to them, literally dragging the seeder/planter down the side of them, going in circles against them, driving slowly - nothing. I got the fertilizer one to bring the trigger up for a split second once and that was it. Even terraforming them on a higher or lower platform didn’t work.

Could you use a conveyer belt under it and let it unload into the seeder??

for some reason some of the planters that do corn/sunflowers etc wont work with the placeables . just as you can't refill them from an auger trailer

Can you please tell me how you found the " detection zone? " ? Was there any specific program you used? Because I would like finding " detection zones" . Would you care to share the tip?
