Chickens doesn't eat much

I am playing on ravenport, and I have a chicken coupe of hundred. I have feed them once, but what they eat is nearly the same as what you can clean beside the coupe. I have now over 30 hours of playing with this.
Is this normal?

When you fill the feed to maximum it should last 10 in game days so depends on the speed you are playing at.

I filled my chicken feed at least 30 in game days ago - and they have only consumed about half the feed - I have one of the small coops, but full of chickens.

100 chickens eat about 400l of wheat a day.
(cows eat the most at 380l per cow, each day).

I was just going on the message that shows on the screen when you fill it. Haven’t tried to work it out.

Same. They don't eat much at all. Maybe I need more chickens.

The thing that bothers me with chickens is they don't need water? WHAT! Thats is a complete booboo, chickens do need water, but apparently not in FS19

We also gave ours ground oyster shells and corn... and cleaning out the yard, ewww.
