I don't understand why there is logging in FS it's not a logging sim it's a farming sim

In many parts of the world, logging is a common off-season activity for farmers. One could say the same about trucking, construction, working in the oilfield, and vacationing in Arizona

but none of those pastimes are as easily adaptable to FS-style gameplay as logging is.

Well it is often a planted crop that is harvested, so not that far removed from farming really. Although it is generally seen as a separate Industry in my experience.
It's an option in the game that you can either take or leave, nobody is forcing you to do it.

The beautiful thing about logging in Farming Simulator is if you don't like it nor agree with it, don't do it. Therefore there is no longer a need to

I mean I don’t usually have a huge logging operation but I like to clear trees to make/expand fields. I don’t know why you’re complaining about it, if you don’t like it don’t do it...

That is where you are wrong. x amount of trees are planted for every tree harvested. They are "harvested" just like a crop. and timber is indeed a crop. A necessity to every day life.

this game is awesome in the way that it doesn't force you to do anything you don't want to do.
don't like logging? don't do it.
don't like cows? why bother with them then

in other words. the problem is not with the game here ... just saying

Forestry is part of agriculture, you grow, you spray with it pesticides, put manure on it and them you harvest it. Sounds someone spoilt
