I thought the KC135 was a 767 platform and the AWACS was built on the 737

135A's were 767 but the originals were 737s. I worked on them for 8 years

The KC-135 was developed from the Boeing 367-80 Prototype, commonly called the "Dash 80". It has a narrower fuselage and is shorter than the 707.

The B737 was developed in 1964 using the 707's cross section and nose with a shortened airframe and 2 engines mounted one each to a wing. It first flew in 1967 as the B737-100. It is the forerunner to the B737 MAX aircraft.

The B767 is a wide body airliner (Dual aisle) that entered service in 1982. The KC-46 (A derivative of the 767) recently won the KC-X contract for the USAF.

The E-3 Sentry (AWACS) was derived from the 707 airframe and as such is roomer then her little sister the KC-135.

The C-130 aircraft family includes the AC-130 (USAF), The C-130 (USAF, USN, USMC) and the KC-130 (USAF, USMC).

The are a few 707 conversions to aerial tankers but most are civilian contract.

Gotta use the Dodge Charger you get when you start. You’ll be catapulting through fields, no such thing as traffic

I should really get into that map after I come back from my break. Watch The Squad’s 80s Roleplay Series, very nice map to play on MP
