THe truth bout the log forks

Post by FarmingRemasterd »

So im cutting down some trees right, i grab my 6M, with the log forks to pick the logs up and they are so worthless, no grip, no strength no nothing, might as well be a yard ornament for all i care

Come on Giants, listen to the community, please? is there any way i can fix this issue? any mods or stuff?

Have you got the new patch 1.3 installed? Maybe it's one of the miscellaneous fixes in there. It's out either right now or pretty soon? Seems to be a lot of complaints about log forks.

Using the log fork hasn’t been to much of a hassle for me. I’ve only been using the wheel loader fork though. I place it on the log, close it, drive forward some, and the log fork closes right over it.

I can't use the dang fork either. I just got the big truck with the crane.

The forks are supposed to be powerful bits of kit that'll bite into the wood, instead we have the grabbers from the fairground when trying to win prizes.

Log forks don't usually "bite" into the wood. Possible I misunderstood you there. They do get a tighter grip than they tend to do in Farming Simulator though. They work about like hands covered in grease or oil here.

The forks shouldn't be smooth, they should have raised nodules (dogged) to prevent lateral slip.

Anyone tried the new log-fork on mod-hub? I guess it will hold just one log at a time so I can't use it atm. I am still cleaning my future Yard and have to get rid of a massive amount of trees. For that the bag'n lifter is my number one pick. It was good bevor the mod-update but after it was resubmitted and uploaded to the modhub it is even better. smoother motions better reactions and the logs don't "Dance" that much.
