Dairy Farming Grrrrr.......
Why do I have to like being a dairy farmer in the game???? It's to much work!
Get up before first light and feed them, then muck them, then re-bed them, then run milk to the dairy, then spread manure and muck, then mow, ted, take bale, mow, wrap, mow, transport grass to the clamp, harvest wheat, bale straw.......arghhhh!!!!!
And the slots all this equipment takes up on console!!! The horror!
I do love it though. And the challenge of making it all happen. Gives me a greater appreciation for real farmers who have to do all this in blizzards and droughts. So....
Thank You Giants!

I know that Giants probably won't make a gravity wagon, but I love to read the responses.

Add a couple Greenhouses near-by, and you'll have some extra income, and some extra work. If the slot count allows of course.

Fantastic post!
Tried to earn money from dairy on fs19, but I think you have to play 1000+ hours to get your investment back.
I buy cows as soon as I can, because it gives me the "have to do" - task. Dairy-equipment cost a lot of money, so it is a nice challinge.
I've tried playing without cows, but for me it's boring...

Re: Dairy Farming Grrrrr.......
The money is nice, I'm on easy economy, so every four days I'm making 60,000 with 43-45 cows. That's the sweet spot for 16,000 liters of TMR a day. But the reason I do it, I love the grind. I have a touch of OCD, who doesn't nowadays, and I like the repetition. It's very therapeutic to sit and play.Saom wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 3:57 pm Fantastic post!

Once I get through my current blitz of harvesting, I'm in "autumn" right now, so once I get through that, I'm buying some fields and some greenhouses.

Dairy with seasons is always sooo fun, I cant wait for it to release. I have to agree though, it can be a lot of work, but its good because it keeps you busy.

Re: Dairy Farming Grrrrr.......
Global Company Script will arrive and we will be able to have production factories, for example butter and cream in the dairy, butcher, textiles, etc. It would be a boost for the game !!!
