Are they as profitable as 17?

From my prospective, I don't think they are worth all the work if you are making them with the sole intention to sell them.

Short : no they are not.

Long : the price of the equipment needed is about the same, but you need more land than in 17, since there aren't any "free" gras any more, so the expenses to make silage bales are higher, while on the other hand, the price of silage is lower in 19 than 17.

Still very useful for the cows though, end with the wrappers from the anderson dlc you can make a nice long row of em aswell

I'm on easy economy on Marwell, and I can get 2400 to 2800 if I'm patient waiting on the price.

One bale has 4000L.
Just look to your price for silage in the overview chart and calculate by yourself. There is no extra bonus attached to selling it as bales.

You forgot too add that's per 1000l, so the price in the chart needs to be multiplied by 4 for bales.
