Giants being blamed doesn't surprise me though. Blaming them is the "easy button."

I don't blame Giants for not wanting to publish mods on their website with potentially stolen components in it. That makes sense to me.

I do blame Giants creating this whole issue around the 8R and other popular tractors by refusing to put in the North American tire and front weight options. Narrow duals are only available on Case IH tractors, so they showed they can do it, but Deere and AGCO tractors, the other 2 popular brands don't have these options. Ultimately this whole fight exists because modders are rushing to get out popular mods to fill this huge vacuum that should have been dealt with by the game developer.

This is true, Bossman. All that I saw with the JHHG version was what Giants should have added in the first place. Options to remove front lift/ add weights, customizable safety placards (striped EU signage and/ or safety triangle), and additional tire options. Maybe in the future, these can be added. In FS17, Giants did add optiins for customizing midstream. Hopefully that will be the case in this addition as well.

And yes, the 8R is already in game. That's pretty obvious at this point. Simply asking for additional customizable options.

I see custom modding is submitting their American version of the 8R so hopefully soon

Bingo! Just like how I hated the Big Bud 450 in FS17 because it didn't have the option for duals (thankfully now it does ).

They've already created the model, I can't imagine it would be very hard to add different tire and front link/weight options. I don't even care about the signage, but that shouldn't be hard to change either.

They could've spent their time on that rather than modelling a useless dog.

Their 9rt is coming also but one of their members just released a picture of the US 8R he is releasing to modhub
