Hi, I was wondering if a real-life farmer could tell me how the solid fertilizer spray rate compares between a broadcast spreader and an in-line spreader in a row-crop planter. I would assume that less fertilizer is applied per hectare when using a seeder/planter with an in-line fertilizer unit.
The reason for my question is that I use the mod VariableSprayUsage by monteur1 in combination with my own mod FS19_RealLifeNumbers which tells the user how much fertilizer to spray/spread, depending on fertilizer type and crop type. My data for NPK need is based on what the crop removes from the soil in one season, but scaled by the crop-availability of the fertilizer type. I assume that the crop-availability is higher with an in-line spreader, and that less fertilizer therefore need to be applied per hectare compared to a broadcast spreader.
