Post by dapals51 »

Since my 8r thread got off tract, Figured I would start another one for any rumors about New John Deere Mods, (no offense to other brands, just seems Deere has the most interests for now) Any info please post!

I know Custom modding said they are working on their 9rt for console. Haven't heard of anything else confirmed. Still wanting more american equipment.

One of custom Modding moderators is making the US version of the 8r and bringing it to consoles he said. So there is still good hope coming

Black Sheep modding is working on a old school Deere 90 skid steer.

Northern modding may be working on a 959 JD tracked tree harvester.

I don't know if you seen that Black sheep modding are doing a all in one tree machine eats trees and has plough on back looks like a game changer for sure

I would love to see the 9RT and US 8R. Good thinking on starting a new, it seemed to turn into petty bickering. Hopefully everyone can stay on subject here.

A decent 360° machine would be fantastic for console logging. From the look of it I don't think the 959 would process trees though?

The mount looks similar to the machines we already have, with the tool kinda hanging off the arm. IMO the biggest bottleneck for console users is loading/transport.

I’m kinda lost as to the hype behind JD tractor mods. I’m finding the in game tractors sufficient enough. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to get more tractors in the game, but still don’t see the hype behind the JD ones.

That’s just me...

CM seems to be getting their 8r to modhub, but are being required to put opening doors on it. Curious as to why modders are being required to put features on their mods that giants refuse to do. That tractor is looking great though, same with the 9rt
