Pacific northwest

Post by Tylercheesey1986 »

Really enjoying the fs19 version of pacific nw map that was released today. It has a good balance of everything, small tight field, large flat fields, large areas for placeables or building your own farm, mountain, forests even a train that is actually useful.
Aussie who loves himself a 7790 JD cotton picker, 100ac was most i got off in one day. (22.5hrs)
Currently a 300 ac irrigated beef farmer with Hereford Angus x.
50-120 head.
Gear-MF i148, 7 disc offset plow, fert/seed broadcaster, harrow bars.
Only crop for improving grazing capacity so don't need much.

Umm I'm not home ATM, but im pretty sure new farmer is around 700 used, start from scratch is around 400 used. It seems like a good map for setting up custom farms, plenty of areas to build on. Also uses a similar fence removal option as AJs Mercury Farms which I think should be standard for all fences on all maps

It has a good slot count for the amount of detail it has. I can't wait to get a few hours to really check it out and set up my farm

Fence removal option? Is it a building you go to like on the update alien Jim did? Or just with a chainsaw?

I can’t wait to dig into this map for a bit, I just finished my 100 hour woodshire save, so now I moved all my equipment to this map. Looking forward to getting my yard setup tomorrow.

I think Epideath said it's based roughly on the Snake River at the Idaho/ Washington border.

Havent found a maitenence shed yet, but its a pretty cool feature and a little different from AlienJims, some fence posts have white tops and an arrow, cut them and removes a section of fence in direction of arrow until the next white topped post, 4-5 posts along, enough to fit a header through, however the fences aren't everywhere, just some in places where it actually makes sense to have a fence.

Have only tested this in the main farm while trying to replace some of the sheds with different ones. But I got the same issue while trying to place something.
Came here for information, stayed for the entertainment.

It seems to be the whole map, bought one of the big fields down bottom and same issue.

I tinkered with the map late last night. I was able to place the lighted silage bunker in the bare area not to far from the shop. Ill try few other placeables tonight. On ps4 if makes a difference.
