Expectations: a DLC per month

Post by IceUul »

After Giants got the game ready (fixed) for March (patch 1.3.0.1 realease date), seems they have enough workforce to make a DLC every month, let's what we got so far:

March: Anderson DLC (paid)
April: Horsch DLC (free)
May: Holmer DLC (free)
June: FSL DLC (PC only, free)
July: another paid DLC perhaps?

I just want to say that last months has made my expectations so high, so i expect to have a DLC any upcoming month.

Very high expectations IMO that will probably never happen.

If only they could start down the scs road now, like they do with ets2. Update the game, and make nice paid dlcs for fs, and let 19 be the last for a decade or so ....... I for one would gladly buy the dlcs, as I do with scs' dlcs.

It would be cool, put I think it would drag the quality of them and the amount of stuff in them way down. Also I dont want it because that means the qa team is busy testing dlc when they could be testing mods.

So why do consoles need a free dlc and pc/Mac don't. Being the fact console hold pc version back.

I'm not getting into an argument with you just saying as pc got DLC for FSL the same for console would be nice. As for holding PC back think you should speak to Giants as they are the ones who published console version that I paid £60 plus season pass

So a console needs a "special" DLC, so you console players will feel "special" ?

You forgott that you still need a PC to make a DLC... :gamer:

Guys let's not get into this again please, There is some DLC on consoles that is not natively available on pc so let's leave it at that now please.

from the console perspective, Horsch was a mod, not a DLC as DLC's don't take away from the limited downloadable mod space.

I know in the much broader usage of terms in the game/software world something that can be downloaded is a DLC, however in the FS world( console vs PC) there is a big difference.

While we're at it why don't we get a free copy of the game too? Since we're demanding things that aren't likely to happen.
