How to delete tree's

I'm on ps4 so I have to save, quit to main menu, then reload and disable the mod before loading so I have no clue what happens if you disable it while loaded on the map.

Load save, disable, save, quit, uninstall mod, reload, verify. I'm also on PS4.

Correct if you want to remove it safely, now make a backup save before just in case it could have been luck for me. Backup save can be achieved simply by copying the save to a USB or if you have ps+ you can upload the save to the cloud

Is this why GIANTS themselves did not offer placeable trees as a part of the base game?

Possibly but if that was the case why didn't they say it or make it a requirement to put a warning on placable tree mods?
