I was hoping after downloading this map that the pens would be available to use on other maps

Placeables from mod maps are never usable directly on other maps.
If you want to use them, you need to extract them out of the mod maps .zip file and create a seperate mod out of this.

And they did seem like peaceable on the 1st look vid I watched, and the mf sheds tricked me, never mind.

Yes, they are placeable while you are playing on that specific map. But you can't place them on other maps.

You could try to contact the map creator. Maybe he will bring the pens to the modhub.

Its an update, but for some reason comes up in modhub as "new"

	Aussie who loves himself a 7790 JD cotton picker, 100ac was most i got off in one day. (22.5hrs) Currently a 300 ac irrigated beef farmer with Hereford Angus x. 50-120 head. Gear-MF i148, 7 disc offset plow, fert/seed broadcaster, harrow bars. Only crop for improving grazing capacity so don't need much.
