Just going to post this here for any new PC players who might find it interesting. JayzTwoCents has done a video showing how low a PC you can get away with.

Haha.. Trying to figure out what to do with my gaming situation here.. Bought a Radeon RX 6600 XT to be ready for FS22, but it died a few days before launch, so now I'm back stuck on my Geforce 760 GTX, which is way lower than the worst GFX card they found in the video above, and I've got an ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor to boot ;D.. So sadly stuck on low settings here.

Wonder what I'd need to run on high settings on that resolution. Good GFX cards here that is possible to get sells for ridiculous amount of money. Even a basic 3060 card cost like €800 or $900, which I used to get a perfectly fine complete computer for. And the better cards recommended for 1440p gaming is x2 to x4 of that..

on the pc side. the cpu have a instruktions set. not something special on fs 22. as for gpu, as long you can take direct x 11 or 12. you are good. we are talking on 10+ old hardware, as a ref a 760 gtx is from 2013 and why run it at that resolution? i have a 1060 card. and run it 1080p, on a 4k screen. and i feel 22 running far better on dx 12, then on 19 dirext x 11. sorry for bad english

lower the resulution, and you can run on better settings. its actualy better to run on 720 that 1080, on older systems. this is something you must tryout. but you can enoy this game, on old computers. as an example, on 720 you can see a tree 100m away, as of 1080 50m. then 720 will look better. and again sorry for bad english. not to offend anyone, but this is the def of the pc masterrace. you have what you have, and you use it as at it's best.

These are my specs, I didnt have much issues with FS19, but FS22, my FPS stays in the 20s. Not sure if it's on Giants end or mine.

Right now my fps is holding on 30 with occasionally dropping 1 or 2. It's not stuttering much anymore, so I'm happy with it for now. I did read somewhere where a gtx 1050 is too old to be running with FS22 so I may look into upgrading in the near future.

I'm assuming 4GB of RAM? With my GTX 1660 ti (6GB of VRAM) I'm pushing about 85% of my GPU RAM on custom Very High settings. I would imagine if you're only at 4GB you are just pushing the VRAM to it's limit. What settings are you playing on?

Literally says a couple of posts above...

Unless you mean VRAM, in which case it's probably 2GB, which is below requirements. Run it at anything over low settings and it will try to use more VRAM than you have available, so it'll stutter as it continually clears and loads new data into the VRAM.

Hi ladies and gents, I’ve a couple of questions and would appreciate the help from those in the know. I’ve been playing FS since 15 and have always loved it. I’ve been playing the whole time on console and currently play on series X, but the lack of mods and restrictions on them has finally gotten to me. This morning I pulled the trigger on a pc that I’m hoping will allow me to play at 4K with high or better settings while maintaining good FPS. This is what I’ve purchased.

Gigabyte z690 board
I7-12700kf 5ghz processor
RTX 3070 trio gaming Z R2.0 8gb video card
32gb Kingston fury beast 3600mhz ram
512GB GEN4 M.2 NVME
There’s also a 2tb barracuda 7200rpm drive

I haven’t pruchased a monitor yet as the budget wouldn’t stretch, I have a lg 4K HDR tv that I’m going to use in the interim. It’s capable of 120hz at 1080p and 60hz at 4K. My question are, will the system give me the outcome I’m looking for and will the tv be ok for the time being. Also I’m from Australia, so please don’t ask what this is costing me. You guys from the U.S and Europe may actually die.

Thanks for your feedback.

Sounds fairly similar to my new setup. I went amd ryzen 5 5600x route on b550 chipset and a 3070 ti card. Im playing 3440×1440 on very high with all drawing distances set to max in game and foliage distance at 300% with steady 60 fps. Dont think you should have an issue with that setup..

Not entirely sure what 4k resolution is though
