Just not sure if I want to dump $210 on a new CPU and have it not be any better than what I got. If it is way better than what I got, then I would consider getting it.

I did test the new GPU on Fellsbrunn and it I get a 1-2 fps drop with only a combine, 2 articulated tractors, planter, and a few placeables with chickens. Does the CPU aid in that type of stuff?
You could see some improvement, As according to userbenchmark, the i5-9600k is about 46% more powerful than the i5-6500. As well, that is not factoring in the fact that you'd be able to overclock the 9600k if you wanted to. As far as in FS 19, I doubt it would do much to improving your fps. As you are not currently bottlenecked. Though it could potentially help somewhat with the frequency increase, but even that, I'd be skeptical about.

Ah, ok. I probably won't get it if it won't be much better. I might just wait until next year and see how my machine works with FS21.

Thanks for all the help! I really appreciated it. :) Just noticed you have 5FDP in your profile picture, nice, I like them as well lol.

I thought a 2080ti could push through the FPS and Giants engine problems, but even djgoham has frame rate drops.

Maybe the 3080ti can force the engine to behave 🤔

What's required per website:
Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 2.0 GHz Intel or equivalent AMD dual-core processor Nvidia Geforce GTS 450, AMD Radeon HD 6770 graphics card or better (min 1GB VRAM) 2 GB RAM 6 GB free hard drive space Soundcard DVD-ROM Drive (only for retail version)

That's for 17 not 19
I3-2100 2.5ghz or amd FX-4100 3.6ghz quad core
Gtx650 or Radeon 7770 or 2gb vram dx11 support
4gb RAM

This is for Minimum requirements, giants doesn't give you recommended. If you want to play on low settings and 15 fps that will do it. My Dell Inspiron all in one pc plays 17 that way.
Let's get some cows!
FS17 a few hundred hours on pc, 920 ps4
FS19 2660 hrs ps4/ps5
FS 22 [ps5] 1070 hrs [pc] 60 hrs

A 3080ti won't make a difference, a 2080ti is completely overkill for farming simulator.. Like you said its down to giants engine so you could throw two titan xp's at it and it'll still be a shitshow

Hi I just got FS19 and would like some quick advice on my PC setup.

My PC spec is:

Windows 8 64 bit
Intel Quad core CPU @ 2.83GHz
4GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost

I'm thinking of upgrading the graphics card but what are your thoughts??

It may improve your performance slightly but without knowing the exact model of your cpu I can’t say for sure. I’d also highly suggest to buy another 4 gb ram stick as only having 4 gb could also potentially be a bottleneck

I have a couple of questions if anyone can help? I’m at a cross roads with the next gen of consoles soon to come out as weather to go down the pc route instead. 1- if I buy a desk top can I set it up with my tv as a monitor straight away? As all the videos I’ve seen show you need a monitor to set up your tv as a monitor? 2- if I go down the laptop route are they really loud fan wise or does it depend how hard it has to work?

Most graphics cards nowadays have at least one hdmi slot, so it’ll work on your tv out of the box.

As far as the laptop route, it’ll depend on the work load, it’s the same way with a desktop though. The downside to the laptop though is that it is more prone to overheating due to the relatively limited airflow.

I would have to recommend upgrading to a whole new pc, as that processor does not meet the minimum system requirement.

Now I'm kind of curious if bumping my ram up to 8 would help the game run a little better on my laptop.
FS22 on Xbox Series X. But play the older titles on PC.
