The second one said in stock but later placed on back order so I cancelled. The final 3rd was exactly as I wanted a 550W Fully Modular from Corsair actually was in stock and has since been shipped.

All but keyboard and mouse have shipped so far and are on track to be delivered by end of next week. I can't wait. It will be so nice to be able to play without restrictions and play the way I want to play.
Helped my cousin put together his PC right after the stimulus went out for us and let’s just say it was tricky then. Had to rebuild his part list like 5 times.

Just curious but what keyboard and mouse did you go with?
Just a simple Logitech K740 and Logitech M525.

Still looking for the ideal monitor.
Can’t really say for monitors as I’ve only ever bought one myself, which was just recently but it’s pretty good so far, which is the MSI Optix Mag24c.

As far as the keyboard though, I’d highly recommend going to a mechanical keyboard over that one. I switched over from a membrane keyboard to a mechanical one just a couple months ago and let me just say, I have no clue how I ever used a membrane keyboard. Mechanicals are so much nicer.

Looks good for what you could probably get right now. Only thing is that if you do any upgrades, may need to upgrade the PSU first to a higher wattage.

Funny you should mention that. I am already planning a higher end build that will require more power. It almost triples the build cost but that is subject to change as supply and demand start to equalize...hopefully.

You could save 50 quid by getting the 1600 af. It's performance is almost identical to the 2600

In most cases, the more expensive a prebuilt PC is, the more the cost of assembly and profit margin of the seller will be. Therefore, it is indeed cheaper to build a PC.

Hi guys so a gaming PC sim racing rig has come up for sale near where I live and I wanted to know your thoughts on would this be a good entry level PC to buy or will it even run farming simulator and the truck simulator series. Spec that is advertised is as follows

I7 2600 processer
GTX 1060 3 GB graphics card
8GB RAM
1TB hard drive
120gb SSD
500 watt power supply
Logitech gaming mouse
Redragon gaming keyboard
32-in monitor
And it also comes with a thrustmaster steering wheel pedals gear stick and seat/stand for everything to be setup on.
He's looking £900 for everything.
I know nothing about PCs just about know how to turn them on 😂. And I have been toying with the idea about getting in PC for a long time currently rocking it on PS4. Cheers in advance for any advice giving 👍

Sounds like you would be good. I ran an i7 7700 with a GTX 970 in my laptop and on high settings got around 30-35 fps. You may not be able to be at the highest settings, but it should run FS fine.

I started on my laptop, then built my PC. Definitely worth it!

Nobody should be building a PC right now, way too close to ryzen 4000, Big Navi, nvidia 3000 and Samsung 980 Pro. Add to that the new PSU spec and 12pin PCIE graphics card connector.

The PSU spec is getting rid of 5V and 3.3V. DDR5 also.

Just a bad time overall, hold off for 2 months at least.

They don't have to go big on their first build. They don't need the brand new stuff.
1300 acre farm, finish out just about 10,000 hogs a year, 200 cattle, and xbox one and pc user.

Yeah bought the gaming PC anyways delighted with it and with all that I got with it I think was a fairly good price ohh and I both him down to £800. And I like my sim racing as well. Haven't a clue what I'm doing but sure I'm motoring along nicely 😂. So this just be a nice cheapish way to learn an not blow up anything expensive.got it yesterday evening around 6 or 7 set it up and that was me till 5 this morning playing farming simulator 19 and ets2.
