First: I am afraid it's not my Puma. Giants release only one version of in game vehicles and someone beat me to it.

Second: Giants require opening door and rear window of in game vehicle mods. This obviously requires a serious effort in Maya (or other 3D modelling).

I am working on subject 2 now even if I can't release it on modhub.

That isn't a requirement. It was one of a few suggestions to change it enough.

If you mean the doors and stuff it's a good suggestion. But from what I know and have tried it takes more work than the door and window. I have to reverse engineer all movable parts since I have to change the actual pumacvx_vis mesh. All because the outside parts of the door are in pumacvx_vis and the door and inside parts are in the cabin_vis. Would be many hours less work just to extract movable polygons from the cabin rather than all hydraulic and steering etc from the entire vehicle mesh. And then rebuild it all with correctly baked pivots to make the merge groups actually move and rotate correctly.

Whatever it's a fun experience and I'm about 1/4 way into it done front and rear hydraulics and front fenders and steering parts. Need to work on rear fenders (yes they are separated merge groups because of cabin suspension I think.)

I'm so happy, never thought i would get it done when i first started, but i persisted, watching hours of YouTube videos and reading, i now have 4 other mods in development, however i'm keeping them under my hat until i get to the upload stage, thanks you guys for the support.

Asyvan, sorry about the puma, and sorry for hijacking your thread, it wasn't intentional. hope you get the next mod through!

Absolutely fine with the thread. I am glad people jump in here and I am happy for you.
I still don't see a Puma on Modhub so I will submit mine again. I have now reverse engineered the cabin in Maya and have made the roof open/close as well as the direction selector at the steering wheel (besides standard stuff like gas/brake and seat suspension).
