the map from Contest - Obermarktdorf isnt showing when trying to start a new game , i had the map alone with no mods to it and didnt show up

I posted the fix here earlier but will paste it here too:



The Obermarktdorf mod is missing some closing remarks in the modDesc.xml (if you want to get it working add </en> to the end of line 39, </de> to the end of line 40 and </fr> to the end of line 41 - see below).

Change this:

It looks a decent map too, so I expect the modder will be gutted they've made a fairly basic mistake at probably the last minute.

I'll try this myself too when I get home. The map looks very interesting. However, with such an error I could not give this map a positive rating as by default it will not work.

This map, IMO, would normally rate a good 3 or 4 cause overall it looks pretty good but you shouldn't have to go in and work with the modDesc.xml file just to get it to appear so that will have to lower it down a star or two, that and I had to sell the combine and header and rebuy them and use the tardis teleport cause it was stuck in the garage.
