County Line - Water is black?

Post by Miketeg »

Hi,

I recently started to play on the last (and real, almost bug free) version of County Line, but all water on map is black.

Any idea what can cause this ?

Thanks

Is the map based from Michigan? That might explain the bad water.

I'm only guessing but I'd say it's a shader issue.

I'm not a modder by any sens, but shader issue can only affect one element on a map ? In that case, Water?

All other elements are A1.

Thanks for your answer!

Or all the slurry tanks in the map leak, and mechanics just dump used oil in the water.

No idea, just remember similar things with fs17 and believe it was shaders, I'm almost certain the same thing happened with 19 recently too but the whole map was black.

From the Map Author on Farmer Kleins You Tube Channel :
"3. I left the water as is with the black, as it it provides a nice reflection at ground level. I found if I tweaked the shadows, the water would look very artificial. The water at the pig farm and the creek running across the road by the sheep farm is an example of the poor reflections. "

I like it. I like the layout a little better than Midwest horizon. It works better in my opinion for a large single player farm.

Must be close to Arkansas, somewhere near the Clampett family... Lol

Finally after using it for 10 hours, I have found lot of error with courseplay (error that I don't have on any other maps).

Field 15 and field 16 seems to worst....will wait an update.

1.8gb is absolutely massive for a map.
