GRIMME DLC, What Happened?

Post by iLLBill606 »

What ever happened to the winners of the DLC?

They were gonna produce a DLC for Grimme. A few months ago they said on the Forums, they are working on it and it'll be done shortly, still nothing.

Was really looking forward to this because the Beet Equipment is outdated. 3M Harvester is like a 6 row harvester, they are outdated and hardly anyone uses them. usually 8 and 12 rows is what you get!

Also the base game beet topper is nothing like was a real one looks like.

I think you're being a little narrow minded on the beet topper thing, just because we don't have small ones like that in the US doesn't mean they aren't real.

In Norway a 1 row potato harvester is the norm, two row is still long between.. Don't think there are 5 self-propelled.. There are 300.000 tonns grown each year.. That's a hell of a lot turns back and forth😂

No disrespect to Norway but it ranks about 76th in the world in potato production ( 2016 data). In the US, we would reference the phrase "small potatoes".

Here we produce about 20 million tonnes...which is still only 5th in the world.

Grimme's Spudnik division here has its smallest harvester at 4 rows...unless it's an air separator then its 2 rows. Plus, most guys are windrowing to the harvester on one or both sides.

Most is done by pull type and nearly all is directly unloaded to a truck. A lot of guys in my area are running Lenco 4 or 6 row SP harvesters...and windrowing in front of them.

Potato equipment is one area I have been hoping to see more from. Mostly because there is so much out there that could really change up the game.

Yes, In the Midwest of the US, most farms use Implements instead of the Homer style Harvesters/Terras. Most Farms have from a 6-8-12 row Harvester, 6-12 row Roto-Beeter(Beet Topper). an In game Silos on maps for Beets is nothing close to accurate.

I miss the Grimme Tectron from 17. The one in game I feel is to small for doing potatoes. Giants/modders potatoes need some loving!!
