Wow. Yet another asinine comment.
They way he is going he is going to be banned by the morning. Multiple reports have been sent to the moderators. We dont like trolls on the forums. Clearly he is console player that is jealous of pc players because of seasons. He needs to grow up.

In Seasons 17 you could store grass. But it does not make any sense. Isn't seasons about realism?

To your Initial Question: Farmer Klein has a Video out, where he explains the animals. Part of it is grazing and he says you can Switch stables to let the gras regrow. He had an example cowpasture with 10 (i think) cows and the ate all the gras. thats it for the day... so - for your 100 cows... I think it is not a real good idea ;-) Just take the 3 Million to place all those pastures and buy bales

Well, if the game has hard-coded rule that you get penalized for not providing them grass (cows, sheeps) then no, it isn`t

The game lets you store grass and I am pretty sure that only modified hay loft placeables allowed it. Not the seasons mod. Should the mod try to over write ALL the other mods to satisfy everyone for REALISM? Your complaint should be directed at the hay loft mods.

I like to have 100-200 cows so I guess grazing that many would need way to many cow pastures. I have setup two of each of the largest animal pens thinking that would do but guess I will be better off just having one pasture each and not worry about grazing, I will continue storing grass and forages in lofts or AJs silo then

Since grass is no longer needed for 100%, it isen't an issue anymore. Just store up hay for winter.

As for the OP question, it will depend. How many cows, and how much grass land is inside your placable. Since even the largest cow placable I have seen is still very small in land, I would say probably alot.

Just need TMR, Straw, and Water for 100%. They dropped the need for grass, silage, and tmr to all be needed for 19. Now it just goes with the best food you have for them.
