Check out a few video's of FS13/FS15 Soil mod.
The gameplay and what the game-engine can do goes back to FS13 (maybe even further). Weeds, Lime, herbicide, moisture all there. And more.

I remember back on the farm many years ago we would
Barley
Canola
Wheat
Wheat (this crop got the greatest advantage)
Oats under sown with lucerne
5 year break stock allowed to graze once lucerne was established

I don’t think this works in game

It will be tested Monday at the earliest as they at Farmcon until next week. Just need to keep an eye on the mods in testing. Average waiting time is 8 work days for mods. Could be a week. Could be longer. 119 mods waiting to be tested.

To have under sowing in game and Lucerne as a base game crop would be great

Patience, there's bugs to find and fix. Let's not turn this into silly arguments or demands to come to console quick etc.

A while,, lols.
Hasn't even been out 48hrs yet has it??
Now onto topic, thank you RM for seasons 19, once I can get mod (on console) and I can figure out how I will be making a donation also. Sharing something of this scale freely to all truly deserves rewarding.

I have a patch in the bigger starting field on felsbrunn that has germination failed. It's a brilliant mechanic of seasons.

But grass (and poplar and cane) regrow after being harvested, right?
So, next year you'd have a grown field that's classified as fallow?
It's probably easy to test in the game but I'm at work now :)

Grass, sugarcane and poplar will regrow. But if you don't harvest those for one year fallow will be registered for the purpose of calculating the yield multiplier for crop rotation. Nothing will happen to your crop in the field.

Quite true. It's easy to get a 50% yield if one messes up the rotation too bad.

bossmanslim wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2019 3:26 pm Rotations I like:
  • Grass, Grass, Cereal (wheat, barley, oat) - good for supporting livestock. I think the yield works out to 120%, 108%, 120% assuming it is looped. Grass can be replaced by cotton in geo that supports it for those who want to farm it.
  • Soybean, Canola, Cereal (wheat, barley, oat) - everything can be planted using a seeder and the yield is 90%, 120%, 120%. You give up 10% soybean yield for plus 40% yield on the other two crops
  • Soybean, Sunflower, Corn - same as above only for those who don't mind tillage and are farming with planters.
Nice "cookbook" :) Pretty sure we'll have a complete recipe book for animals, silage, etc.
Pigs will need a lot of planning now.

It wouldn't, as Seasons penalizes planting the same crop each year.
Also, I don't know what undersowing is (computer farmer only). Did you sow oats, press it down and then sow lucerne above?

Awesome, thank you.
What do y'all think is a reasonable donation??

One more thing, i don't have a PayPal account, could i please get any opinions regarding the credit card payment option being secure.. It is just that I'm hesitant about giving my card details as I have been victim of credit theft before
