Did not know this one has Direct Planting option in real life, thought all planters need cultivating before.

not exactly. Planters are used for double cropping in the US. Means soybeans are directly planted after winter wheat into the stubbles and the chopped straw, without plowing or the use of of a disc. Can also be done with an air drill...

Almost all US planters can be used for no till, they just need what is called a Row cleaner (sweeps trash away in front of the row units). There are other attachments but this is what is needed at a minimum. The in game Great Plains planter would technically have these

Keep in mind no till really means strict till. There is some tillage in the vast majority of cases. There are very few instances of actual no till considering the majority of seeders used till to some degree. Strict till is also defined by the individual farmer and their specific land. Sometimes the tillage is just whatever the air drill does, sometimes it is just running a harrow after the cover crops, in all cases it includes no plough.

Over here it's not much no till, yet. Directly translated from Norwegian, what is practiced over here are called reduced soil/ground work. Which means you don't use the mouldboard plow.. Some direct seed, some rund a straw harrow, some do a pass with a cultivator in the fall and one more in the spring. Some have a Vaderstad rapid with two disc rows and seed after mouldboard plowing. But the mouldboard plow is still the best weeder.. Gmo is forbidden by law.. Both seed, feed and food..

Row cleaners are not required for no till, there were plenty of no till planters with just coulters to break things up a bit before the opener discs came through before they came out with row cleaners
The coulter's are a specific attachment for no tilling. Row cleaners are used for both

Is this the modded one? If so just drive next to a liquid fertilizer box or fill point and hit the fill button.

What are you trying to fill it with? The aj tech refill points work and I have gotten to work with the liquid fertilizer tanks.

The seed is seed in the game. It should work if you are doing it correctly. Sometimes you have to back out of a trigger and reenter. Also close your seed lids just incase you are using a same trigger fill station.
