Here's a project for you guys that have a lawn but never had anything to do with farming.. Buy a heavy/thick drum liner/trash bag. Fill it with the clippings from your lawn mover. Twist the opening shut a bit, then sit on it with our knee to get all the air out. Then tie it shut with a steel wire or simular.. After a while you go silage, no addatives. If you got rabbits you just made them dinner

Sounds right to me. About chopping silage, is it not also possible (in real life) to use a baler with a built-in chopper to obtain the similar quality silage? Think I read something about such bales having a higher density.
