Here's a project for you guys that have a lawn but never had anything to do with farming.. Buy a heavy/thick drum liner/trash bag. Fill it with the clippings from your lawn mover. Twist the opening shut a bit, then sit on it with our knee to get all the air out. Then tie it shut with a steel wire or simular.. After a while you go silage, no addatives. If you got rabbits you just made them dinner😁

Sounds right to me. About chopping silage, is it not also possible (in real life) to use a baler with a built-in chopper to obtain the similar quality silage? Think I read something about such bales having a higher density.
