Cool, update is out, few fields removed so I'm going to start over with a new save. Also now terrain can be lowered might make it a realistic cotton farm with huge squared fields, irrigation channels and drainage ditchs

Currently a 300 ac irrigated beef farmer with Hereford Angus x.

Gear-MF i148, 7 disc offset plow, fert/seed broadcaster, harrow bars.
Only crop for improving grazing capacity so don't need much.

Hi
a map update was to be available in September. But I asked the creators to change the order in which my maps were checked. There are very long delays

Thank you for getting flatmap pushed through testing quicker! I'm busy replowing some huge fields.
From your comment I take it you have another map in testing??

I still get put a farmhouse down anywhere near my farm I built. It says terrain cannot be deformed here. Right now I have the house opposite side of map and still won't place it

I haven't found any issue placing stuff, however I generally only place buildings in the central area between all the sell points/shop, etc.

Yea it weird...it wouldn't even let me change the ground either. This is not a new saved game from the update though

I think the update needs a new save.
The edges are what gets to me.
The floatiness scares me, lol.
It isn't that big of an issue really, I don't get why it is like it but I guess there is a reason for it. I may just raise a ridge a little inland and fill the edges with trees. Hope the tree planter is ready for a workout. Once again thank you PrzemsoN

Have windrow issue been fixed? And can you harvest root crops? I stopped playing until an update for those reasons. Thanks Przemson for the map.

Man, don’t ever play Minecraft SkyFactory then  That will give you some serious vertigo.

So without a new save the changes don’t take effect I’m guessing?

I am fairly certain it needs a new save for the update to work. 2 of the fields have been removed and whole map has been raised to allow terrain to be lowered as well as raised with landscape tool. Just those 2 changes would force it to need a new save I would think

I currently have 6 workers plowing endlessly trying to get back up to the point I was on my old save.. I had about 80hrs of work plowing on my old save.
If you use the lizard 6m plow on front and RAU 6.6m cultivator on back, you only have to do one run yourself. After that just set a worker with a little overlap, you can then get 5 more workers to follow. 6×6m passes = 36m passes, yay!
On the end of each run you will need to manually turn and line up each worker for next run. It is the quickest way I have found to get the map plowed

I think you’re probably right, not to mention getting Seasons ready, so I decided to go ahead and update, now starting over fresh. I tested the 6M plow with the Rau before I started over and you’re right that works like a charm. Should make the reboot a lot faster process. Big props to CMTaylor for that one *thumbsup*

My rebooted flatmap since the update will take a while to get done. I plan to plow and cultivate entire map first, then raise and lower terrain/create a few hills/mts etc, than lay some roads, build a farm yard, plant a gazillion trees and finally use paint tool to define some fields.
