Yep, I tested it out last night, and will probably be adding it to the fleet. Plowing would be nice and maybe a harrow on the back for visual you know. Or a drag of some sort. It works well though, and I like it.

NICE WORK @ GERY MODDING AND THANKS FOR SHARING WITH US ALL!!

I added it to my fleet and really like it. I too would love to have the plow ability as well as β€œcreate field” option... but that’s just me. A harrow/drag option would be a sweet addition as well. Overall, though, a really nice mod.

Agree with ya'll. This is now my favorite tillage tool in fs19. Would be a nice option to have one that would make the plowed texture so I can use it after harvest for my fall tillage on corn stubble and for fields that need plowing, and use something like a cultivator for spring tillage before planting.

@grey modding, it does look great! A possible update would be making it plow, with either a pull behind harrow or an option to attach a harrow when Purchasing

Well a 490 disk can be used to make new fields in real life but it take a lot of passes to do so if it a grass field or pasture so i can understand why it wasn't goven a plow function

I would be okay with out the new field option and just have the plow, with the option of a harrow at purchase to make a finish pass

I have to agree here; IRL the 490 is not a heavy disk. It is a good medium stubble disk or a finishing disk, but it really is not a breaking disk or a plough.

You are correct, but it is a primary tillage tool following corn. So the plow option isn't out of line

Correct but to get the weight needed adding weights to the main frame and wings would be needed and i have seen it done before an odd look but it worked

Also need to remember these were built before 200 bushel corn in the 70s and 80s. A lot less residue to run through then compared to now

That is correct they never thought it would be like this now in days
