Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
Actually your wrong there. There was a post made on realisms Facebook page before it’s release on console.
I would put money on it you won’t get seasons on console before Christmas

Actually, this is incorrect.WMRmodding wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 7:47 pm
Why do members keep saying that seasons has to go through Sony and Microsoft. Guil has said this at least 8 times that mods including seasons have absolutely nothing to do with Sony or Microsoft. I honestly don’t get why people keep posting misinformation about. Seasons will take a very long time to test. There are pages and pages of scripts that have to be tested. I’ve seen them all in the mod folder. Giants have to make sure every single bit of that code works and also that it does not conflict with any aspect of the base game so it does not brake it. Then the update from pc has to be added to it and all of that need to go through the same testing. This is why seasons takes so long to test. It gets here when it gets here. If you want it before then then buy a pc it’s that simple.
Not having a go here at anyone but misinformation helps absolutely nobody. If someone does not know something then please do not speculate about just say you don’t know.
Since Seasons include scripts, which is essentially executable code, it has to pass Sony and Microsoft. Normal mods without scripts is tested by Giants only, because these mods execute only code already in the base game (and as such already approved by Sony and Microsoft).

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
I know you know your stuff but in this one I will go with what guil has to say on the matter as he would have been about to speak with these involved in what goes on behind the scenes and he has stated many times now on this very forum that Sony and Microsoft have absolutely no involvement whatsoever. So until it can be confirmed or denied by someone from ginats I have no choice but to go with the evidence I am presented with from guil.

WMR, the seasons script get added to the game in an update. That's why 'Seasons' has to be tested by Sony/Microsoft.

They either failed and hopefully will get re-submitted, or they passed and Giants is holding them for a rainy day to cheer up all the sad farming simulator players faces throughout the world and restore all faith in humanity.Newholland T8 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 6:21 pm Anyone know what’s happening with a couple mods I saw testing, jcb 4220 & 8330, and a new Holland t7
