What are the NMC Bridge Mats? Are they bridges to get across creeks in a forest?

My guess is like swamp pads. The wood boards almost like half a telephone pole and squared bundled together with big redi rod like 8 of them. You put a bunch of them together to build a road through an area that’s to wet to access without some sort of road. The pipe line uses them so do loggers, they also use them in crane pads to stabilize the ground further if a crab is gonna sit somewhere for a while or has a heavy pick. We use them for ditching or crossing mud ponds and things like that you bring four or five with you and pick up the back one or two and move them in front of you to keep moving across while always trying to stay on three. You can just about walk a hoe on water with them.
