Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
I think Giants could have handled this differently... According to SiiD's comments on his FB page, 80% of American modders have been banned for the same issue with the 3D tracks? Haven't these been on there for like months? I think Giants owes the community and the modders an explanation. Is this really the proper way to do business and treat people that have contributed an overwhelming amount of time and content to this game? Give them a chance to correct the mistakes, my gosh!
Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
Yeah there appears to be more to the story than just that. I like siid but I think there might be a why in there somewhere as he said himself others have used them.

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
Now the question that comes to my mind is are they going to pull his other mods already on the mod hub?

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
I have a pretty good hunch to why it would be and it has to do with the claas dlc
Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
Or it could be someone claiming he stole bits.
Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
Probably, or some kind of steal/copy, but can't know for sure. Imo Gaints should just realise those 3d tracks as prefab.

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
So if you make a mod and it doesn't pass the testing you get banned? I don't understand why they wouldn't just say "remove the 3d tracks" and let him fix it.
Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
That’s why I think they’re from a dlc giants views it as stealing so the ban hammer comes down swift and hard
