Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
For the sake of...
Just quit it, and remember the title of this thread.
I recommend people that wants to learn modding to start small. A really simple placeable without function is great. A bale fork is also great start.
What do we know? The guy making his first bale fork now might give us something incredible in FS21.

Not denying this logic one bit! It's a good point, which brings me back to the fact I respect any and all modders, even ones that I won't use. That being said, you stated this thread is about mod discussion. Modders who make equipment that are the same model but different get rejected by giants. Why do all these bale forks make it? They all are similar yet different and pass...just a serious questionasyvan wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 2:59 pm For the sake of...

I'm a firm believer that all mods should be published as long as they pass inspection obviously

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
There's your answer. If you use a Giants model as the base it's the same model, as the opposite of when you design/build something from scratch, even a bale fork
Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
Only one mod from a Giants model.vondeylenfarms wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 3:23 pm

If 100 people buy the same model from Turbosquid they can all be released. Same if you create your own model.
PS: note the difference between mod and (3D) model.

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
I'm following...base game model, only 1 recreate. Thanks
Kinda *censored* though as CM has some awesome mods coming with tons of options but the model has already been uploaded by someone else

No no, they reject it because someone claims they stole parts of model from someone elsevondeylenfarms wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 3:23 pmNot denying this logic one bit! Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
No I'm aware of this situation and I rather not get into it as I feel that some instances there is theft going on but some modders are getting screwed by false accusations. I was referring more toward CM 7R for instance...also their Quadtrac that won't make it because someone already did them.

Was hoping that something will show up on the ModHub today but alas, the Gods of Mods haven't taken pity on us

You were a bit quick off the mark with that comment, mods have dropped.Valko_inen wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 4:41 pm Was hoping that something will show up on the ModHub today but alas, the Gods of Mods haven't taken pity on us

I see the Agco 1000 Series is back in testing today. I wonder if its the one by Steenkamp Modding? The one that got removed 3 weeks ago.

Doubt it, since Steenkamp's one already passed testing, so couldn't they just add it back onto the modhub.
1300 acre farm, finish out just about 10,000 hogs a year, 200 cattle, and xbox one and pc user.

Maybe he made changes to the mod. If he did wouldn't they have to test it again?Illinois Farmer wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 5:37 pm Doubt it, since Steenkamp's one already passed testing, so couldn't they just add it back onto the modhub.

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
Whats fixed in the Welker update? Same version as before and there is nothing new in the changelog.
