Mwal wrote: Fri Nov 13, 2020 1:19 pm There’s a line. Nothing wrong with a little rumble but at some point it went from sounding nice to a competition of who can be the most obnoxiously loud. Now every town you drive through has a no engine braking in city limits sign out in front of their vehicle noise law enforced sign.
I've seen it the other direction to in our town they basically do not want any vehicles downtown if it was up to them

She is 2/3 of the way through a pregnancy she is perfectly fine with me finding other ways of entertaining myself lol. I'm not familiar too much with this Map other than the name and the area it is comprised of. I took a look at the mod hub after I saw your message and today may have single Handedly pushed me into a new save. A plethora of awesome looking mods and a new map that's basically the closest to my home location that I have seen for console. I wonder how much freedom the map has to create your own farm like Pacific Northwest. This has been a very good week

Are those the first rollers that fertilize? Been wanting something like that. I like to get creative with that 3rd fert stage.

Buyer beware!!!!

It doesn’t drop straw in the wheat field next to your starting farm. I’m assuming there are some bugs.

However, it’s a nice map. I’d put it on a close level to South Mountain. Driving around in that new truck with the Jake brake is entertaining for sure.

Darn it I guess that's gonna be a No go. That slot count is way too high I just now hit 900 slots on lone oak and that's with a lot of equipment. Also the straw SUI wonder what causes that and if it's on every field

@Mwal: If the federal government had any backbone at all they would fine every city, town or municipality that passed an anti Engine brake ordinance. It is a violation of Federal law to disable safety equipment. They should stop the damn kids with loud boom boxes in their cars as well. It would still be a violation of federal law to disable the engine brake but they could enforce noise ordinances and it be questionable but probably legal.

To be fair my truck Does have a switch to turn it on and off lol. On the other side of the coin good luck winning that battle as most large fleet carriers run stuff that you can leave the brake on And nobody except for those that are familiar would know the difference . It's usually small carriers or private individuals that run the straight pipes that are loud with the Jake brake on. Good luck winning that court battle. The local municipalities have deep deep pockets. My favorite is the signs that say "brake retarders prohibited next one mile" Wouldn't my switch on the dashboard that turns the break off technically be at retarder? So in essence the sign is telling you to run with the Jake brake on.

To be fair I drove a semi from 1972 when I got out of the Navy till May of last year and had trucks with and without Jakes or Williams brakes. I always wished I could find the dink that pushed for the ordinances to see if his kids had the loud boom boxes in their cars/pickups. What I hated the most was grades like Aguirre Springs going east from Las Cruces, New Mexico that was 8 miles from summit to the White Sand Missile Base exit on U.S 70 that had the no engine brake ordinance. That grade was about 6% and using the engine brake was really nice.

Honestly I think it all boils down that too many people in this world have it way too good but they need something to complain about.
