Question about planters

I’m not a farmer in real life so this may sound like a silly question to those that are. Just curious to why the fertilizer capacity is so much higher then the seed capacity on most in game planters at least the ones I typically use just seems like it should be the other way around.

I don't know about now a days, but back when I was a kid (1980's). The 4 row corn planter that dad used would use way more fertilizer than seed. Seemed like less than a couple bags of seed per day. But alot of clear plastic bags of dry fertilizer.

IRL we use a lot more fertilizer than we do seed. Depends on crop and soil conditions but usually 50-150kg of fertilizer to 20kg of seed

This is correct but here in Indiana a bag of corn will normally do 2.4 acres and fertilizer will do 100 lbs an acre so with a 16 row with 1.6 bushel boxes will do 38.4 and for us we have dry fertilizer on our planter so full it will do 60 acres but that is set to 34,000 population and 100 lds fertilizer but that can change if we change the population of the corn and rate of the fertilizer.
