Weed is not a crop and illegal in some parts. Hemp is a crop and giants have already stated their feelings on no hemp or tobacco plants because of the rating E for everyone.

Weed is a crop, its a cash crop, Giants wants to keep Kids playing farming simulator, it'll send the wrong message. I agree with Giants on this one. Like Illinois Farmer said its not fully legal in all states. So technically, its is a crop, but farmers don't grow it like corn or soybeans, so keep that stuff out of farming simulator.

Hemp is a completely fine crop. It is used for oils and can be cut with a corn chopper on a forage harvester.
Pure farming has it.
I see ZERO need for it to not exist in farming simulator.

Well,
here is the clarification you all need:

Hemp and Marijuana is different things, but both are strains from a plant called Cannabis.

Marijuana is classified as a drug in many parts of the world and has besides "recreational" use also medical use.
Marijuana is a Cannabis which has THC usually over 5% (THC is what creates the "recreational" effect).

Hemp is a Cannabis which has THC lower than 0.3% and you will not get "high" or get any "recreational" effect of Hemp.
Hemp is used in industrial applications and is easy to grow in large farmlands.

Hemp i have no knowledge on. But im assuming he means Marijuana. I don't use that stuff, so i don't pay any attention to it, ny lungs are completely clean from that family and tobacco as well.

Marijuana is a drug and has medical use. But it is not grown in large farmlands. It is grown in controlled environments.

Yes, marijuana has advantages on the medical side, i agree with that. But getting high and stuff isn't for me.

Where in the world is weed a cash crop? I'm truly curious. Here in the states weed is not a cash crop, it is a drug. It isn't supported by a USDA and has no market values. Hemp on the other hand is a cash crop, but not in every state. It is only starting to be grown again. Back in the 50s we grew hemp for rope then ppl started smoking and getting high from the thc. Then the government said if you have any hemp plants grown on your farm, wild or not, they need to be destroyed or face jail time or huge fines. This year is the first year that many states are allowed to grow hemp again. I know I'm Germany they use hemp for a ton of stuff, but not weed. Also, I know Colorado you can grow 5 plants to make weed, but that doesn't make something a cash crop. It needs to be back by the USDA and needs to be on the trading boards.
