I want to start off with the Fortshritt gear.
What is the best map for this.

Dreisternhof with some minor changes such as the mf silo with some multifruit add-ons,the mf half open half closed machine shed,a small horse pen behind that,some trees and the little 6 chickencoop does it for me.

only need the figure out wich tractors to use, all fend 500 and 800 1 gen ,all deutz agrostar/clearview or all fiatagri

I have done essentially the same on Felsbrunn. I just like the starting farm area. Set up a couple if sheds and a Fiatagri/nh old tractor, Bizon harvester, and the d754 truck with the goal of trying to modernize while doing seasons once it comes to console.

Minibrunn
Old Farm Countryside
Old Stream Farm
Forschritt gear should go well with any of these IMO
(Tyrolean Alps is my favorite for smaller gear)

Osina and Meadow Grove, if they were seasons ready. Oakfield is another possibility.
I really like doing small scale farms with beaten old machinery. I've tried a few big scale, American themed maps and I just kinda lose interest.

i feel the same way.
would love to see more old equipment in the game.

right now: provence and old stream farm. ( addapted provence to seasons with mask and replaced the trees)

the new fortschritt is 89k but the claas mega just 46k. hmm what schould i use ( old stream farm: claas, provence: fortschritt harvester and tractor)

i still struggle to find the perfect (maybe better) map.

Just had a start in Minibrunn swapped out a few machines & upgraded the 3 & 500 series FENDT so pretty much sorted for small scale farming , think the 40 series new Holland tractors would work well here too

Any suggestions for American farms? I know Ravenport starts you with some small fields. But I can't stand the map layout.

Wel I'm currently in Oakfield but the lack of contracts bothers me. There are loads of empty fields doing nothing and there just isn't the opportunity to work them without owning them.

	Aussie who loves himself a 7790 JD cotton picker, 100ac was most i got off in one day. (22.5hrs) Currently a 300 ac irrigated beef farmer with Hereford Angus x. 50-120 head. Gear-MF i148, 7 disc offset plow, fert/seed broadcaster, harrow bars. Only crop for improving grazing capacity so don't need much.
