Challenger MT743 vs. Fendt Vario MT943
Challenger MT743 vs. Fendt Vario MT943
It took a while, but I've finally warmed up to the green and red. I'm American and I love Cat machines. So naturally at first I loved the Challenger. But after spending some more time with the Fendt machines in the game, I think I prefer them to the Challys.
Which colors do you prefer? Is the 943 really a Fendt? Is the 1050 really a Challenger?

Personally the green and red is a nice change but I prefer the yellow and black.

They are the same machines. Challengers are Fendts, and vice versa.Riven326 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2019 2:38 am It took a while, but I've finally warmed up to the green and red. I see mostly JD and Fendt here in the south of the UK but I like the Challengers.
Re: Challenger MT743 vs. Fendt Vario MT943
It all belongs to AGCO but the wheeled challengers are developed by Fendt brand in Europe and the tracked Fendts developed by the Challenger brand in the US.

Here in Hampshire it's usually a mix but New Holland and JD are most commonSJ_Sathanas wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2019 9:24 pm I see mostly JD and Fendt here in the south of the UK but I like the Challengers.

Here in Cheshire there tends to be a pretty varied mix, I’d say most common are Jd NewHolland Case Ih and Claas, I’ve seen a few challengers kicking about but only tracked machines I don’t think the Fendt 1000 is sold in outside of North America in challenger spec, but to answer your question the machines are identical, only difference is cosmetic.
If it’s not blue then it just won’t do!

Fendt Vario 1000 arrived this year in Brazil, are manufactured and assembled here to be sold in South America, while Challanger comes from North America and it is only possible to buy one through Valtra.Newholland T8 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 12:22 pm Here in Cheshire there tends to be a pretty varied mix, I’d say most common are Jd NewHolland Case Ih and Claas, I’ve seen a few challengers kicking about but only tracked machines I don’t think the Fendt 1000 is sold in outside of North America in challenger spec, but to answer your question the machines are identical, only difference is cosmetic.

The only time I've seen New Holland are on the back of lorries near the roads heading to Dover and the channel crossing.
I've never seen Case out in the wild but I have seen a case dealership!
Went to a tractor show recently and most of the older tractors were Massey Ferguson.

I live in the States. It's almost all John Deere. Some Case machines, a couple old Challengers, and the rest is Kubota. In fact, Kubota seems to be the next big thing here in South Florida.
Re: Challenger MT743 vs. Fendt Vario MT943
If you get into first person in the Massey Ferguson’s they are very similar to the challenger I have as well.

Most likely exports to Europe, the New Holland factory in Essex makes most of the tractors in NH current line up, I think the combines are made there too I’m not sure, but I know they make tractors upto the T7 HD, T8 and T9 are built i America I think.SJ_Sathanas wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 4:32 pm The only time I've seen New Holland are on the back of lorries near the roads heading to Dover and the channel crossing.

Oh, I’m sorry, I thought this was America.
Re: Challenger MT743 vs. Fendt Vario MT943
They're all the same basic machines. However, from what I've read online and watched on youtube, the Fendt versions of the 1000 at least, has a different (and apparently better) UI than the Challengers.
In game, I go with whatever color scheme I'm aiming for at the time. Right now it's puke green, off white, and red.

FS22 is the best one yet. Fight me!
