Having said that, I'm not sure the patch that downloaded yesterday is the same as the one that's being talked about here? After reading warnings about slot counts, I opened my main saved game before installing the patch, and got rid of some of my more slot hungry equipment, dropping the used slots from 1100 or so to just over 900 - didn't want to risk not being able to open the save and I can always buy the gear back

However, when I'd done this and saved, went back to the PS home screen and it informed me that the patch had installed 10 minutes earlier! Went back into the game and had a whizz around but couldn't see any differences to appearance
The slot thing was an xbox only issue

LOL! Should have paid more attention and not panicked! Never mind, no harm done as I needed to pare my equipment down a little anyway :)

Hope I'm not being thick here, but the patch my PS4 downloaded yesterday and installed this morning says

Farming Simulator 19: Version 1.10

Is this the one being discussed on this thread? :)

Yes, Sony just uses a different numbering system than Giants. If you look on the top left of the start screen of the game it will say 1.5.1.0.

This. It's always a good idea to refer to the in-game version. It's usually on the main menu for most games.

This update is junk in my opinion, used to run at a solid 60fps on PC and since the update anything creates lag, walk next to horse pasture and dips to 55fps, used to be able to hire 2 workers and still be smooth as butter, now lag with one worker, smh at this "update"

In my case it was the usual shader cache issue ... a quick run around the map in the pickup sorted it all for me, back to 60fps. In dire cases I'll delete the shader cache and do the run-around.

Is it me, or do workers do a better job now with the standard plows?

They always used to leave unplowed bits at the beginning and end of the fields.
Now they don’t, as far as I can tell
