The roads are too small for big equipment, especially near the shop.
Agreed, struggled to get the Xerion 5000 and Lexion 8900 from the shop to the farm :this:
I like the additional challenge with tight roads. It also means you must take longer/different route to destination sometimes.

This is why I quit Geislesberg for Babrosty. Geislerberg is way too tight and windy in just about all aspects. The pre-setup farm is also very expensive at $4500 per day in building maintenance with no way to drop that number. Babrosty has a similar feel, but feels more rural and you're not constantly fighting tight roads and as much random junk scattered around the map. There are several wood piles are on field boundaries and the power pole in front of the farm makes it hard to get stuff in and out. The only thing I don't like about Babrosty is it has some buried trees and a couple scattered items I'd I'll probably have to remove via GE.

Claas Rollant 540 round baler:
https://www.claas.co.uk/products/balers/rollant540
Claas Liner windrower:

Just missing only these 5 pieces, hope that modders or FS21 will bring them...

That Axion 900 sounds like a damn freight train when I have my headset on. I love that bass
Indeed. I have a 5.1 setup and that tractor really rumbles.

Yep these would be nice.
Dont forget on this little buddies:

But I think they left some things out, because they want to bring them out in the next FarmingSimulator game.

The lack of tedders and rakes from Claas makes me think they are being held back for 21 given how popular and well used they are in real life.

I somehow doubt that.
Doesn’t John Deere sell that stuff as well?

They didn’t add that in the game. Not even balers

Might have found a little problem the CLAAS baler/rapper with sessions it instantly makes silage bales don't know if it's something to do with the DLC or sessions? the base game baler/rapper works as it should the rapped bales still have to ferment

I thought it was the other way around.
In the base game they’re instantly silage.
And what I can remember from FS17, in seasons you need to wait

Finally picked Riesenbeck, nice map for all the Claas machinery.

Just to notice, this map is not seasons ready and seasons is also not ready (still has too much bugs to be playable).

As stated in another post, I have absolutely no real world knowledge of Claas tractors. In fact, I've never heard of them until this game (FS19) came out. That being said, as a midwestern "old guy" that grew up with JD equipment, I like the Claas equipment. From YT videos and other inquries into German engineering in the farming world, I enjoy the difference and probable advantage in the market. The equipment looks solid and well built, competitive if you will. When I go home, its interesting to see the slow change in the market. When I was a kid, it was solid grreen. Then, there was a speckle of red, then yellow, with an occasion rare splash of blue. Now I watch the YT videos and I see yellow and black Claas. Other fellas are telling me that Fendt is moving westward with success. I went home this last spring to fall a bunch of trees for the folks and to brand calves, and now the town has an AGCO dealer (no black combines unfortunately). I guess point being, I like the platinum edition. I"ve been introduced to another brand that I knew nothing about, but now I do, and am open to new ideas and competition, if nothing else, to make everything better, especially the green ones, because that was what I grew up with. And I am using them in my savegames (sorry Pops, they have good designs and made us a good deal!)

I'm going to give Oberkrebach a try, which is Seasons ready: https://www.farming-simulator.com/mod.p ... er=console
Let's hope this is less "tight" but still a nice EU style map

Share your thoughts after you try it, please.
I'm on Oakfield and changed my fleet to Claas from JCB, but it doesn't feel so right.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the headers on the Claas balers don't pick up as wide as the in game Kuhn's? I'm noticing them missing a lot of crop

I was a little disappointed that the Convio 1230 Header and trailer for the Lexion couldn’t be towed by the harvester as it fouls the pipe. At least a non Claas Corn header can be used which gets around the need for a trailer for it.

I also noticed that the Claas square Baler didn’t seem to pick up the straw as well as the Kuhn Baler (bonus, the Kuhn is cheaper).
